To begin a copy operation from Music Rescue's main window, click the "Copy..." button at the bottom right of the window or choose "Begin Copy..." from the "File" menu. The following sheet will be presented:

This list summarises the copy operation. If you do not wish for a particular media type to be copied, uncheck the box to the left of that type. To configure a media type, click the "Configure..." button next to that item. A bubble will appear, detailing the configuration of that item.

Note: The contents of the configuration bubble will vary depending on the item being configured
and the applications installed on your computer.
Copy Destination Choose an application or a folder to copy the items to. This menu will list suggested applications and folders, and you can choose your own folders if required. |
|
File Settings This section allows you to define file-specific settings. For example, in the screenshot above, you can define the Sorting Preset to use and whether to re-copy tracks already copied by Music Rescue. |
|
Application Settings This section allows you to define application-specific settings. For example, in the screenshot above, it is presenting options for adding the tracks to iTunes. Note: Some options may be unavailable depending on other settings. For example, you cannot untick the "Add tracks to iTunes" option if iTunes is set as the Copy Destination. If you don't want your tracks added to iTunes, choose a folder in the Copy Destination menu and untick this option. |
Once you are happy with the settings you've defined, click the "Begin Copy" button in the sheet. The sheet will slide away and be replaced with a copy progress sheet.

Music Rescue will now go through each checked media type in turn and copy the files appropriately. Once all the files have been copied, it will open any needed applications and perform the neccessary actions.
